Hoku

*** Adopted in Germany in 2018 ***

Hoku was saved from euthanasia in one of the government shelters in Cyprus, back in the summer of 2017. Since the first day he came to us, we used to call him a golden boy. Hoku was getting along with all dogs, neutered or not, even with the most grumpy ones. He has this soft, calm aura surrounding him that makes it so easy to fall in love with the boy.
After few months in the kennels, Hoku was lucky to be offered foster home in Germany. Foster home that quickly became forever home, as his foster parents simply fell in love with him. … Unfortunately for everyone, one of the female dogs in the group refused to accept Hoku in the family and this became a reason for him to be looking for forever home.
Even though his foster family is heart broken, they do believe that it is much better if Hoku can find home as a single dog or with social friendly dog that would be welcoming.
Hoku is very much into people, he is very easy to establish bond with. We have no tested Hoku with cats, but in current home he is in contact with horses and he gets along with them just fine.

Medical history

August 2017: CBC, X-rays, Snip Test for Erlichia and Leishmania – negative, IFAT Leishmania test – negative, Passport, Microchip, Rabies vaccine, Annual Vaccine, Seresto+Advantix, Milbemax. Prescribed Moxiclav 625 mg for 10 days.; Repeated CBC after the treatment – ok.
October 2017 : CBC – good. Neutered.
November 2017 – CBC – good. Pre-flight check up. Grooming.
