Mailo

Mailo joined us on September 18th.

He was found as a stray puppy about one month before we found out about him. Mailo was roaming the streets and was collected by a local farmer, who did not want to place Mailo in government pound for his own safety. It was not perfect solution, but the best people could do at that moment.

However few weeks later other dogs that were on the farm started to pick on poor little Mailo, so he had to go to the pound. Luckily Mailo avoided his destiny as the same day he was reserved to go under our care.

Mailo was a bit too skinny for his age, blood test showed he suffered from malnutrition, but for the rest he was a healthy puppy.
Since he joined the pack in the sanctuary he became everyone’s darling. Mailo plays with everyone, loves everyone. We often joke that even though he looks like a shepherd cross, culturally he will grow up to be a husky, since the pack will raise him this way.
Mailo is a bundle of energy and joy. He is also gentle giant. His favorite dog in the sanctuary is Tina, the oldest lady. He sleeps with her, cleans her face and plays with her.

Mailo is a young puppy with a lot of confidence and great social skills.
We would love for Mailo to find forever home as soon as possible, so he can start bonding with his family early.
