Peanut

Peanut

With us since December 17th, 2019.

Peanut was an orphaned puppy in one of the public shelters in Cyprus.
All we know is that when volunteers came to collect Leila and puppies from public shelter, Peanut was there. Very soon we realised that she is not related to husky family and was not only the smallest, but also much younger.

Due to significant difference in size and age, it was decided to separate Peanut for her own safety.  However, she is visited by her siblings and mom daily.

Peanut also has extended family and her personal nanny – Coconut. For those who do not know Coco was rescued when he was a puppy and was adopted by staff.
He took upon himself to clean her, play with her and even ate her poops ( like real mother would).

Peanut’s favourite thing to do is to play with Nala and Coconut.  Just the other day Nala and her were playing one minute and the next they were sleeping on caregivers slipper , piled up.
Peanut gets a great deal of socialisation. She already sleeps through the night snuggling to teddy bear in her crate. She is familiar with house noises ( TV, vacuum, usual household noises)

Even though she is the smallest of her fur family , her confidence and independence compensate three times more.

Also, Peanut is truly little opinionated munchkin. For example, she loves to arrange her bedding. If you change anything, she fixes it again by throwing the blankets aside and arranging it her way.

Despite very unfortunate start in life, Peanut is the happiest puppy in the world.

Ofcorse as she gets older she will be learning and changing. Since we do not really know who her parents, are we can only guess that she will be between medium and small size when fully adult.

We will be posting updates weekly, so check her page if you want to follow her story.

If this little furry peanut captured your heart enough to offer her happy life, please do not hesitate to apply for her adoption.
