+++ Pushka was adopted in Germany in April 2017 +++
Pushka was rescued from the pound (government shelter) in Cyprus. She was in the pound more than 15 days and by Cyprus laws, if no one claims the dog during this time, the dog has to be euthanized. No one came for her. She was no one’s dog, had no name, no microchip. If she would be euthanized no one would even remember her.
We took her under our care. Just before that we noticed that Pushka did not look skinny. After blood tests were performed, Pushka was diagnosed with under-active thyroid. It is controlled by pills, which she would have to take for the rest of her life.
It is truly hard to understand why someone would abandon such treasure. Pushka loves people, she is good with other dogs and she doesn’t mind cats.
We really hope she will find home soon.
With us since November 2015.
She was diagnosed with underactive thyroid. It is controlled by one pill a day.
Our sweet little girl had another blood test last week and it showed that her thyroid problem did not improve, despite the daily pill. She did, however dropped a little bit of weight… Maybe its the heat… If you can give any advise, please contact us. She is such a sweetheart, it is so unfair for her. Maybe that was a reason she was abandoned.
Adoption fee – 350 Euros.
She had all blood tests, is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchiped and has an International Passport.
