Volunteering
If you are reading this article, most likely, you are aware of global stray dog problem. There are many organizations in the same difficult position as our small rescue, that is why we want to thank you for expressing interest in our charity and we want to invite you to join our team. There are so many ways one can help.
Why volunteering with Sled Dog Rescue?
Many people find volunteering more pleasant than their actual jobs. Maybe, because you are not conditioned to anything, it is your own choice, expression of your own free will.
It is a “place” where you can let your passion out, loosen up your imagination, use your creativity and final result would be absolute satisfaction, because that’s how we feel when we do the right thing.
But most importantly, that one’s dog’s life can be spared because of your efforts.
You don’t have to be full time volunteer. You may dedicate two hours per week, whether its walking dogs, grooming them, or helping with administration work; you can help even once a year by helping to arrange fundraising or adoption event; you can volunteer your photography or computer skills; you can develop a poster of your most favorite dog and help advertise him/her for adoption in your area. Great things can be achieved when people get together under the noble goal.
